Pack 60 encourages every scout to wear a complete, neat, rank-appropriate uniform. The pack calls the official uniform the field uniform (formerly Class A) and the Pack 60 T-shirt the activity uniform (formerly Class B).
The official Scouting America Cub Scout uniform page lists rank-specific uniform parts for Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and Arrow of Light scouts.
Pack 60 quick guide
- Cub Scout ranks through Webelos: Blue uniform shirt, proper insignia, rank-appropriate neckerchief and slide, blue pants or shorts, Cub Scout belt, and rank-appropriate hat. Blue pants or shorts do not have to be official Scout Shop items if they have a similar appearance.
- Insignia: The welcome packet lists the World Crest emblem, red Pack 60 numerals, Mountaineer Area Council shoulder patch, and blue shoulder loops.
- Tiger, Wolf, and Bear: Adventure loops are worn on the blue Cub Scout belt.
- Webelos: Add Webelos colors on the right sleeve to hold earned adventure pins.
- Arrow of Light: Wear the tan uniform shirt with green pants or shorts while preparing to move into Scouts BSA.
- Activity uniform: Pack 60 may designate its pack T-shirt for some activities and shares ordering details separately.
- Where to buy: Families can use the official Scout Shop, the Fairmont Scout Shop, or ask the pack about used uniform options.
Uniform costs and availability can change. Ask pack leadership before buying if you are unsure about a rank item or are using hand-me-down pieces.
