Who can join
Pack 60 welcomes girls and boys in kindergarten through fifth grade. Families in the Morgantown, WV area can join a friendly program built around character, outdoor skills, service, creativity, and fun.
The best first step is to visit. Email membership@pack60.org and tell us your child’s grade. A volunteer will help your family plan a Tuesday visit and connect you with the right den.

How to visit a meeting
Pack 60 meets Tuesdays at 7:00 PM at Suncrest United Methodist Church, 479 Van Voorhis Road, in Morgantown, WV.
Families interested in visiting should contact the pack first at membership@pack60.org. A volunteer can confirm that week’s schedule, welcome your family when you arrive, and introduce your child to the right grade-level den.
Families can also follow the Pack 60 Facebook page for current public announcements and a look at recent activities.
How to register
When your family is ready, registration is completed through Pack 60’s official BeAScout listing. Pack volunteers can answer questions and help you complete the process.
What new families should expect
New families should expect a welcoming environment, age-appropriate activities, parent involvement, and a mix of den meetings, pack meetings, outings, service, and special events. Den meetings are usually age-specific, while pack meetings bring everyone together for activities, recognition, and shared pack fun.
You do not need to know anything about Scouting or outdoor activities before contacting us. Pack volunteers and other families help new scouts learn one step at a time.
Estimated costs
Costs may include national registration fees, local pack dues, a handbook, uniform items, and optional activity expenses. A recent Pack 60 welcome flyer listed an annual national registration fee and a local pack fee that helps cover awards, Pinewood Derby cars, and other pack expenses.
Because fees can change by year and family situation, Pack 60 confirms current costs directly with interested families. If cost is a concern, let a pack volunteer know; Scouting assistance may be available through council channels.
Uniform basics
Uniform expectations vary by rank and event. Families can start with the Pack 60 uniform basics resource and use Scouting America’s official Cub Scout uniform page for current rank-specific requirements. Before buying optional items, ask pack leadership what is needed for your scout’s den.
